The Maglizh Monastery of Saint Nicolas is situated on the slopes of the Balkan Mountains, some 2 km to the north of Maglizh. It was established in the 12-13th centuries. There is a monastery school and a library.
Maglizh Fortress
It is situated on the left bank of the Maglizh River, some 6 km to the north of Maglizh. The fortress existed until the 14th century. Remains of the medieval fortress walls 3m high were preserved.
