Ahtopol is the southernmost town on the Black Sea coast, situated on a rocky peninsula between the Ahtopol Cape and Yani Cape, some 11 km to the south-east of Tsarevo. In the vicinity one can find the resort village of Sinemorets, which has preserved unique nature and landscape.
